Closed on New Year's Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Exhibits

The museum on the upper level of the Lewis and Clark Boathouse and Nature Center features a variety of exhibits relating to the Lewis and Clark expedition and the Missouri River ecosystem.

Panorama of the store interior at night

Dioramas illustrate the story of the Lewis and Clark expedition and the Native American tribes they encountered.

Diorama in the museum

Realistic displays depict elements of the Missouri River ecosystem and life in early 19th-century Saint Charles.

Beaver in the museum exhibit

Memorabilia collected during the Discovery Expedition's reenactment of the journey, from Monticello to the Pacific Ocean and back again, are displayed on the classroom walls.
